I Found an Old Network Marketing Business Documentary on VHS… Dream Believers!

I was going through some of my old VHS cassette tapes recently and came across something I hadn't thought about in years: a programme I'd recorded off the TV called Dream Believers: The Highs and Lows of a Network Marketing Business.

Now that's a bit of a blast from the past! 😂

It got me thinking about network marketing and MLM, and how many different people have been attracted to the idea of building a business from home over the years.

People get involved for all sorts of reasons. Maybe they're looking for a bit of extra income, more flexibility, the chance to work with others, or simply an opportunity to do something different.

And, of course, not everyone's journey is the same. There can be exciting possibilities, unexpected challenges, and plenty of different opinions about the whole experience.

That's why stumbling across an old network marketing business documentary like this caught my attention. Even the title makes you wonder about the stories behind it and the people who were part of that world.

It also made me think about how much things have changed.

Back then, we were recording programmes onto VHS tapes. Today, people can promote a business, connect with potential customers, and build online communities from their phones.

But I wonder whether the reasons people get involved have really changed all that much.

Are people still looking for the same things like flexibility, independence, extra income, and the possibility of building something of their own?

I'd love to hear from anyone who has been involved in network marketing over the years.

Do you remember this programme?

And if you were around in the early days of home-based business and MLM, what was your experience like, and do you think the industry has changed for the better, or has it simply changed with the times?

And tell me I'm not the only one who still has old VHS tapes tucked away somewhere! 😄📼
